Yeah, no blog this morning.  I did buy a new laptop though, so there's that.

First thing, if you haven't already planned on doing so, be here for this tomorrow...

Among our guests will be Dallas Latos, who remains the centerpiece of a busy Reds offseason.

First though, we have a show this afternoon on ESPN1530.  We're loaded with guests tomorrow, so we've cleared it for you and I to have a serious discussion about sports today.

It's been a very busy offseason, and unexpectedly, a busier spring training.  As we shift the focus from what's happened in the front office to what will happen on the field, it's time to ask exactly how good the Reds will be in 2012.

So how good will they be?

And have they done enough?

What's your biggest concern?  What's the biggest obstacle?  And where does this team have an edge?

Does the Votto deal add to the urgency to win this year and will Brandon Phillips' contract situation negatively affect their ability to get back to the postseason.

Scanning through the various expert predicitons, there's no consensus favorite in the NL Central.  Can you make the case that the Reds are clearly better than the Cardinals and Brewers or are the Reds still not quite there yet?

Are you optimistic?  Skeptical?  Or just excited for the return of baseball?

That's what we're covering today.

Plus....
John Calipari says he's not going anywhereThis guy wonders if he's headed to New York. I'll get into why that's a bad idea.
And then there's the Notre Dame Women's coach angering people by saying something we'd all agree with.
Plus, the release of the Bengals's preseason schedule, and at 4:40 we'll tell you whether you want a bowl of Votto's for breakfast.

Check us out today on ESPN1530, starting at 3:04.  Here's the banner you'll see outside the Holy Grail Banks.
