The further we get away from the Dallas game, the better I feel about tonight.  And the less you look into variables like the fact that road teams are 5-11 on Thursday nights this season, and the more you think about the matchup, the better you have to feel.

If Bengals coaches don't outhink themselves, and if Andy Dalton avoids the silly pick, the Bengals are going to score on these guys.  Before giving up just 21 against Tampa Bay, the Eagles gave up 30 or more against the previous four opponents, and an average of 28 points in the three games prior to that stretch.

They're the second worst team in the NFL in turnover margin (-19), they still look like a team spiraling out of control despite last week's win, they have no Celek or McCoy, and the Bengals are still trending at least slightly upward.

I said 24-21 good guys this morning, and I'll stay with that because God forbid a sports guy change his mind, right?  But a blowout wouldn't stun me.  A loss would.

Looking forward to talking Bengals/Eagles today on ESPN1530.
