What words did I yell at the TV while watching Homer Bailey?
What words can we use to describe Josh Hamilton?
Are the Reds on the right track and have the Bengals done enough to overtake the AFC standard setters?
Is XU better without Mark Lyons? Is John Calipari being too defensive about the demise of the UK/IU series? And is the Big East in big trouble?
Got an NBA Playoffs take? Have something to say about Bryce Harper, Cole Hamels, or whatever the hell "old baseball" is? Or do you just wanna tell me how much you enjoy my radio show?
We have a chat to get to all of these things and so, so, much more today at 9am. Be there. Click on the thingy.
But wait there's more...
-Are you reaching the point where you're wondering if Homer Bailey is ever going to "get it," whatever "get it" means? While I typed this email, Homer threw 11 pitches. Watching him hurts me and only enhances my inability to focus my attention on one thing.
-Josh Hamilton is awesome. He might be more fragile than the emotions of the average 22 year-old girl and he might be one high-ball away from being completely useless, but he is awesome. He whacked four homers and went 5 for 5 last night. He's been an offensive machine for years and he remains one of baseball's few must-watch at-bats. That is all.
-The Bengals are like the guy looking for chicks at the bar at 1:45am. He knows he's only getting leftovers and he's sorting through nothing but flawed selections.
I view the hunt for a veteran wide receiver the exact same way.
-We have this outstanding piece from Steve Kerr on the problem with the 19 year-old age limit in the NBA.
-Are we closer to a UC/UK tilt?
-I like the Reds as much as the next guy, but once it was 6-0, I started paying attention to Josh Hamilton and the NBA Playoffs. All three results stunned me....I though Atlanta would lay down at home, I thought LA had killer instinct, and I thought Stan Van Gundy would keep his team from quitting. I was wrong on all three accounts. I thought Chicago, even without Rose and Noah, had one defensive masterpiece in them. I was right about that.
I think the Heat beats the Knicks by 22 tonight.
I think I'll be right about that.
Join me later for a radio program on ESPN1530. It starts at 3:04. And join me for a chat at 9:00. Click on the thingy, if you haven't already.
