Early Tuesday reports came out Jerome Simpson would be suspended for 3 games for the 2012 season and no word came out which team he would join. Later Tuesday ESPN insider Adam Schefter reported Simpson would land with the Vikes.

It's really not surprising Simpson is gone if the Bengals wanted him they could have had him and signed him a long time ago. I think the Bengals aren't really worried if you look at what they have. AJ Green of course the number 1 guy.

Jordan Shipley on track for a speedy return at slot. Andrew Hawkins showed last season he's ready to play. Brandon Tate yes he had some troubles at kick returner but why not throw him out there as a wide out for some plays?

At tight end Jermaine Gresham and the club signed Donald Lee. They have BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Bernard Scott at running back and who knows if they pick up another in the late second or third round.

My point is getting rid of Simpson is really not a huge loss. Yes he had a couple of great games but last season he was mostly known for his touchdown flip.

If someone were to ask me about one of my favorite Simpson moments I'm going with a touchdown flip. Really? That's what a number two guy should be rememered for.

Jerome was drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft really didn't see the field until last season. Rumors were because he couldn't learn the playbook.

I'm ok with the Bengals moving on and feeling pretty good about the playmakers they have on the sidelines at the moment.

With Simpson gone it kind of makes me feel like it wouldn't be a bad idea to take one at 21.

I know a lot of people wanted to the Bengals to give up first round pick to the Steelers for a very good reciever by the name of Mike Wallace. Others didn't want the Steelers to have an extra pick saying it would eventually work against the Bengals. I was all for getting Wallace but I wasn't upset either.

The Bengals have two picks in the first round not a lot to get mad about. They did some work getting some vet guys during free agency to help with depth. I'm really not too mad with how the offseason is going and like Mo has said before they really can't screw up this draft.

If someone were to ask me what and who they should get I'm going with a CB at 17 and a WR at 21.
