Baseball fan's tatoos tell story of America's Pastime
The News Tribune
And today, after 180 hours in the chair, once a week for a year -- at a total cost of about $10,000 -- McWain's field of dreams is a reality.
The work is done in black and gray with heavy shading giving the images dimension and McWain's light skin providing the natural paler tones. The boldest color used is red for the baseball stitches.

NFL

The Bengals today signed K Mike Nugent, who became a free agent following last season and was designated March 2 as the team’s franchise player. In 2011, he set team records for points (132) and field goals (33) in a season, helping Cincinnati advance to the playoffs.
Nugent (5-10, 183; Ohio State) is an eighth-year NFL player in 2012. He exercised his option to sign the one-year tender offer specified in the NFL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement.
“We’re happy Mike has signed in advance of our offseason camps,” said head coach Marvin Lewis, “and this does not preclude our continuing to talk to Mike and his representatives about reaching a longer-term agreement. Mike has been a fine performer for us.”

Reds honor national champs
Mark Sheldon, MLB.com
"It's great here," said Calipari from the Reds' dugout. "Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio -- it's all the same place, it really is. The Cincinnati Reds fans in Lexington -- it's a Reds city, other than being a blue city for us.
"We've taken the trophy and gone all over, and this was a natural thing and easy place for our fans to gather. But it's not to be offensive to anybody. Cincinnati has done a great job, and their program is on the rise and it will continue."

No man has ever been as adept as The Boss at capturing the feeling of escape in rock music. Propelled by the ace rhythm section of the E-Street Band, “Born to Run” is Springsteen’s most enduring anthem—a call to arms (and legs) for tramps like us with an instinctual need to put our motors to use and flee.
