Today the Reds placed on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Sunday, IF Miguel Cairo and recalled from Class AAA Louisville IF/OF Todd Frazier.

Cairo suffered a strained left hamstring Saturday at Wsh and will be eligible to be reinstated on 4/30...when he plays, Frazier will make his season debut...he was optioned to Louisville the day before Opening Day, after the Reds claimed off waivers from the Orioles RHP Alfredo Simon...Frazier was the club's final roster move before Opening Day...in spring training Frazier led the club in apps (27), runs (12), total bases (38), home runs (5) and RBI (15) and played 1B (6g, 4gs), 3B (5g, 3gs), LF (6g, 3gs) and RF (6g, 3gs)...he made 10 apps at Louisville (.291, 2 2b, 1hr, 7rbi, 3sb, 8gs at 3B, 1gs in LF, 1gs at DH) and hit safely in his last 5g for the Bats (6-18, .333, 1 2b, 1hr, 5rbi, 1sb).
